The Turmoils Within

Why tangle with the past when i have a future ahead
Confusion is all that it creates
The clock ticks and it ticks fast
Collecting Memories which long last

Why do the wise ones say to dwell in the present?
As Putting my past behind is a difficult thing to do!
Courage & prioritizing is all that it takes
To not spoil my future for nostalgia's sake

I know there is a journey i have to take
But its a tough decision to make
Thank god curiosity as its a blessing of its own
Without it I would be leading an arid life

So now as i have written it all out
I better go hit the sack
Sleep peacefully till dawn
Coz Tomorrow I have a 'life' to catch
